Conditional color for graphs

Hello there!

Sometimes we want to display a conditional color for a specific bar, for example, in a graph.

As you can see in the example below, we have 3 bars and all of them are blue:

Now, if you want to change the color for only 2010 bar to green:

To do that, you just have to:

1. Create an Horizontal Bar graph with Year and Revenue.

Go to Design view in Web and create a threshold in the desired metric using “Advanced Thresholds Editor…” button;

2. Create a new threshold with Year = 2010 and apply it to the graph, just like the image below:

3. Edit the cell formatting (pic6) of the threshold and apply a green color to the fill option:

4. Click on the Ok button twice.

5. Execute your dashboard!

 

That’s it.
